A final journal entry

[Hidden underneath the mattress in room 7 is a sheet of parchment with writing on both sides. On the front is the secrets that he received in week 2. They are as follows.]
Humans in Thanatos Beldine's world have been chosen to be eliminated in an event called the Lacrimosa. The Primordials he speaks of were returned for the sole purpose of wiping out humanity.
The humans have chosen to fight the Lacrimosa, even knowing that they are going against Providence itself and may cause their entire world to end.
Ricotta Beldine is not his daughter. She was a child he found in the wilderness and tamed. She was raised by a bird and giant monkey.
[Then on the back the following is written by Thanatos.]
It is difficult to write what I'm sure will be my last journal entry. Even if I somehow get away with what I am about to do, I will do what I can to save the innocent to take my place even if it costs me my life. I will fight to change our fates here, as I attempted to do back in my world. I don't know if they can truly change things, but I can't ignore the possibility that I can fix the mistake we made. What I saw during that vision earlier this week was my world ceasing to exist. It was truly a worse thing to experience than even my own death. I know my reasons mean little because by the time anyone reads this I'll just be another murderer.
That isn't the point of this, however. I am writing to make sure that someone will be aware of what I found in the bedroom. The one the younger Steward called Big Sis' room. First, in the room there is a tapestry and on there is a panel that allows access to the tunnel that leads to the music room. When I investigated it previously, there was something blocking my way up. After that, it led to a very ornate bedroom.
I will go ahead and confess now: I was the one who took the item from the room. What I took was a fan. [To the side of this is a rough drawing of what the fan looks like both folded and unfolded] I took it because while I was examining it, I felt a sense of relief and like it helped everyone else somehow. I don't know how it did, it just was a gut feeling that something good happened for once. I returned the fan as was requested.
I also found in there the golem that is now guarding that room. I advise against going near it, I felt like my head was about to split open when I went too close. Also the younger Steward at least can speak to you through it. In that room I also found the crystal ball that allowed us those visions. That night I did not see what I wanted most to see. I wanted to know if I had a home to go back to, instead it showed me a past from before I knew how doomed we were. Perhaps it did give me my answer. All that does exist for me is the past and even that will be taken from me if I go back.
Instead of getting the answer I wanted, I saw a strange figure in a room I've never seen before. The figure wore a robe and was obviously not human. This being was sitting on a massive throne surrounded by darkness. It said that it could see me and then blinded me with a flash of light. Once I could see again, the crystal ball was broken. I hid it under the bed.
I don't know who is reading this, but if it's not Arthur let him see this so he can decide if he wants to attempt to see something of this person. If he does, make sure he is not alone when he does so.
To the rest of you, stay safe and escape this place.

[If anyone looks around more, they'll also find the following things. The leftovers of the candle, what cigarettes he and Eric didn't smoke, the map and globe and the statue. On his bed is a weird mask and stacked neatly are the books. There are also other notes that he didn't mention lying around. Most are observations of things he shared and notes about the trials but a couple are things he didn't get a chance to share and will be detailed in the comments.]
